Beautiful lamp in a classic style, made with great care in a material that gives strength and elegance, bronze. The square sectional base of the lamp and decorated with a cubic molding is made using an industrial-inspired technique that creates this singular irregular texture of the Objet Insolite lights and which makes each of them a unique model. The golden finish of the model is obtained by covering the foot with a thin regular layer of gold by electrolysis, after a bronze polishing operation which brings out the roughness of the metal. The lamp is crowned with a conical shade in cork-colored taffeta. The narrowness of the shade makes it an ideal bedside lamp, or a perfect model to show off on a pedestal table near a sofa. Objet Insolite is a French house that has been creating lighting in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and which benefits from the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, a distinction granted by the state which recognizes French companies for excellent artisanal and industrial production.
