Terracotta porcelain pendant light with counterweight, by Aldo Bernardi

This pendant in terracotta porcelain has a thin reflector with a white enamelled interior. The twisted wire is fitted with a counterweight, also in terracotta porcelain. This suspension can be raised and lowered and its height can be easily adjusted to suit the application. The ceiling box is in white porcelain, as are the top of the reflector and the pulley at the top of the counterweight. The pendant is also available in a plain white version or with a hand-painted blue anemone pattern. It is made in the workshops of Aldo Bernardi in Treviso, Veneto.

Dimensions: the pendant is supplied with a cable length that allows a typical total height of 150cm with the counterweight at mid-height. The cable can be shortened during installation. From this typical height (and without shortening the cable) the pendant can be lowered by approximately 120cm. Reflector diameter 41cm. Ceiling box diameter 13cm and height 9cm. In the photo the suspension is installed in visible cables. However, the ceiling box has the holes to allow a conventional installation with hidden cables. It is identical in the terracotta, plain white and decorated white versions.

The light source to be used with this luminaire is a standard large base incandescent lamp with a maximum wattage of 70W or LED equivalent to be purchased separately. We recommend the use of the decorative E27 navigation bulb, reference 11020153, whose style is perfectly suited to this luminaire.
