Fascinating in its simplicity, the Ferox pendant lamp is a contemporary jewel of textured raw ceramic, gilded polished brass details and an opal glass ball diffuser. The ceramic work immediately draws attention to the surface of the curved shade, a rough finish with irregular vertical grooves that create a pattern reminiscent of the texture of bark or certain corals. The white opal glass diffuser, which protects the bulb, fits into the shade and is suspended by a black textile cable from a metal ceiling bracket with a superb polished brass finish that gives the metal a shiny patina.
