Beautiful black and hazel Ballon pendant luminaire, sophisticated, complex and versatile. The Ballon collection won the German Design Award 2019 for its remarkable Scandinavian minimalist aesthetic, its steel structure with integrated LED lighting that can be oriented and extended. The model consists of a round black lacquered metal and walnut wood ceiling bracket, a black steel tube pendant that splits into a Y with a light head at each end. One is a 25cm diameter hazelwood disc and the other is a 11cm diameter metal disc, each fitted with a round LED panel and able to rotate 330°. The versatility of Ballon makes it a model that fits into any space, bringing chic, elegance and quality light. The round ceiling bracket is finished in black metal and hazel wood, and the pendant is equipped with a Casambi Bluetooth box for dimming and control via a smartphone app.
Cultivating the essence of Scandinavian tradition, Tunto handcrafts its lighting in Finland, with wood at the heart of this collection, which combines the ancestral know-how of working with this noble material with the latest LED control technology, under the direction of Mikko Kärkkäinen, the Finnish company's chief designer.
The model is available in two sizes (68 and 83 cm) in the ordering options at the bottom of this page, as well as in oak and white metal, references 22120080 and 22120081. A gold plated bar is available as an option, as are bars of different lengths, please contact us for more information.
Dimensions: 53 or 68cm total height, large disc 25cm, small disc 11cm, 15cm extension tube for the 68cm pendant and 30cm extension tube for the 83cm model, 18cm diameter ceiling bracket, 4cm height.
The light source comes from an integrated CRI>97 13W LED module of 2700K (also available in 3000K on request), and Casambi box (Bluetooth lighting control system via an application allowing the piloting of your luminaire and the variation of light intensity). The LED module is factory replaceable.
