The Jude floor lamp attracts the eye with its slender, almost anthropomorphic silhouette, a contemporary design for a structure in solid bronze with a black patina and a large white shade. The model has a round curved base, and a vertical foot in three pieces, one very long, topped by a second shorter and squat one and finally a last rounded piece, all in solid bronze of the best quality. The shade is a large, very slightly tapered cylinder made of off-white chintz. Note the superb patinated bronze finish, an art foundry finish obtained by hot oxidation of the bronze which is tinted and then waxed, offering unalterable protection and a warm, natural colour. The lights of the French company Objet Insolite, exclusively made of solid bronze, are real sculptures that combine the power of bronze with the delicacy and poetry of the elements of nature and the animal world that inspire the design of their lights, made in Normandy.
