Aurora floor lamp in pink

An iconic retro design, this Aurora floor lamp is made of antique white and pink metal with a white glass sphere diffuser. The model has a thin pastel pink metal disc base on which rests the foot, a straight cylinder of antique white metal, topped by a brushed pale gold metal ball for contrast. The highlight of the design is the slanted, rounded lampshade in glossy pink lacquer, one of 5 finishes inspired by the early days of Italian industry in the 19th century, in the shape of a cut hemisphere. It houses the diffuser, a white glass sphere that provides a soft, even light. Aurora is equipped with a dimmer switch located on the lamp's power cord.
