How can you contact Vraiment Beau?
You can call us at 01 45 20 60 00 Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. We can also arrange, on appointment, for a video-conference on Zoom or Teams (very trendy these days), or if you are a professional, for a meeting in Paris. You can visit us in Crac’h where our operations are located, a charming little village between Auray and La Trinité sur Mer in southern Brittany, where we also hold a small showroom. How can I find the lamp I am looking for?
You can use our navigation menus. Select the category on the top menu, then the sub category to browse the corresponding catalog. On the top right of the page, you will find selectors by style, colour, brand and price. When the products are too many, we paginate them across a number of pages. You can select different numbers: if you have a good connection, you can choose 100 products per page, or even more.
You can also call us for advice, we are here to help!
If you know which brand you want, you can choose in in "Our Brands" menu. If you don't, you can browse our brand catalog, which presents each manufacturer.
Finally, you can enter a product reference or search terms in the top search bar. You can use + or - to include or exclude specific words.
I’m looking for a specific product and I do not find it on Vraiment Beau. Can you help me?
We usually try to propose the most interesting products of each of our manufacturers. Many of our manufacturers have thousands of products which they produce on order, and we simply cannot present every reference and variation. If you are looking for a model that we do not present, do contact us by mail or phone, we absolutely can order the reference you are looking for. Do let us know if you have specific requirements (size, colour, options etc…), as our suppliers are skilled craftsmen, often willing to adjust their designs to your needs.
In addition, if you are looking for an interesting brand that we do not distribute, please do let us know: we are constantly looking for new designers.
Please also note that we are working hard at translating our French site in English, but we still have more references on our French site. You can browse our French catalog at will and enjoy the pictures. Don’t worry, you can always call us and we will do the translation for you.
Questions about our luminaries:
I do not know which bulb to fit on my fixture.
It does becomes more and more difficult to choose with certainty the right bulbs: there are more and more shapes of bulbs (shape of the glass and shape of the base ). And LEDs are much more difficult to choose than older technologies, especially if you are looking for quality. We can advise you on the model that will best fit your lighting fixture, taking into account your objectives. You will also find in our Practical Guide many tips to design your lights and choose your bulbs.
I’m not sure of the dimensions of a luminaire I found on your site
Some fixtures sometimes have odd shapes… if you have a doubt about the dimensions of a luminaire, do not hesitate to contact us, we are here to answer all your questions.
I would like to install a dimmer on a luminaire, but I’m not sure which one to choose
You are right to hesitate. All dimmers do not fit all LEDs. Call us, we will contact the manufacturer to make sure that you buy the correct dimmer.
Is your LED bright enough?
We choose only good quality LED lighting, which illuminate as well, or better than classic lights. That said, keep in mind that some products like beacons are designed to produce a soft light.
Also be careful before buying LED bulbs in supermarkets: they are affordable but often have a low performance in terms of intensity, colour, colour rendering capacity and durability. There are LED bulbs that will meet your needs, and we can help you find them.
If you buy a product that comes with its LED, you will get a LED that has been carefully chosen by the manufacturer to maximise the potential of the fixture.

Questions about deliveries:
The delivery driver is in a hurry; should I insist on opening the package in front of him?
Absolutely! He might not be keen, but you must insist. If the product has been damaged during transport, you must inspect it in front of him and make a note of the damage on the document he asks you to sign. You can even take a picture. This is essential for the carrier's insurance to cover the damage. We cannot assist you if you neglect to do so.
The article I ordered does not suit me. What should I do ?
Whatever the reason, you can return the product, as long a it is in "new condition". You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. See our general conditions of sale for more details.
I live at the end of the world on a desert island. Can you deliver me?
Of course ! We often deliver orders on the other side of the world. Just contact us to select the best logistic options. We can also deliver your order to the French offices of the shipper you selected.
I’m thinking of buying a glass chandelier, but I’m afraid it will break during delivery!
We deliver every week many fragile lighting items, especially glass and crystal. The products shipped are packed very rigorously (rigid box, shock absorbing cushions, ecological padding, internal reinforcements, etc.), and cases of broken luminaires are extremely rare. However, like for any delivery from any supplier, you are responsible for opening the parcel and inspecting the content in front of the delivery man. If anything is wrong, you should refuse the delivery, or mention the damage in writing on the delivery slip.

If we receive information from our suppliers that the manufacturing of your order may be delayed, we will inform you by email (do check in your spam folder !). You can also call us if the announced date has passed and you missed our email.
How can I complain and claim my rights?
Your satisfaction is our number one priority. We are at your disposal to solve the problem that is bothering you. Contact our customer service. There is always a solution to meet your expectations.
What is your pricing policy?
Our prices are aligned on the public prices recommended by our suppliers. Most of our products are manufactured to order, so we cannot propose rebates like competitors who buy entire containers from China and then liquidate their stocks. We do offer professional discounts for architects, decorators, electricians, and businesses: ask us for a quote.
Can I see the product before I buy?
We have more than 8000 products in our catalog and most of them are manufactured to order. We obviously cannot hold them in inventory, and our manufacturers themselves do not. That said, we usually have some samples or even items from each manufacturer that we can show to illustrate the materials used and the quality of manufacturing. Come and visit us in Britanny !
