Product Description
Modern and original, the Coral is an unusual white long cylinder pendant luminaire with a pleated and painted fabric that provides both ambient light and focused downlight. This makes it perfect over a dining table, where three or four units in a row can create a striking aesthetic effect. Designed by Arturo Alvarez, the special pleated fabric (made from a fine metal mesh and lacquered) is cut, rolled into a ball, sewn and attached to two round white lacquered metal elements placed at each pole. Once formed, the fabric remains firmly in place, its folds permanent. The pendant is fitted with a transparent cable that can be shortened during installation. On the ceiling, a classic cylindrical box in polished stainless steel houses the connections. The Coral mini collection also includes several matching suspensions: round (12110351) in two sizes, slightly elongated (12110353) also in two sizes and wide cylindrical (12110356). Made in the workshops of Arturo Alvarez in La Coruña, Galicia (Spain).
