Product Description
The Cupis Black and Silver 2-lamp pendant luminaire features two perforated metal saucers, a matt black and polished nickel finish and an indirect light with integrated LED illumination. The suspension consists of a thin metal ceiling cantilever and two matt black metal rods that are linked together and simply placed in the hollow of a ring. The whole is perfectly balanced. At the end of each rod are two shades, a perforated saucer shape lined with a metal disc containing the integrated LED modules, which project light towards the ceiling through the small holes in the shade as backlighting. The shades are finished in polished nickel on the outside and satin nickel on the inside, and the disc that houses the LED modules is polished nickel.
The design is by Sylvain DUBUISSON for Paris-based Gau Lighting, a team of designers and interior architects who work with a wide range of eclectic materials including bronze, aluminium, brass, wood, alabaster, glass and acrylic. Gau emphasises the use of technological innovations such as LED lighting, carefully integrated into their luminaires, which are designed and manufactured in the Paris area.
Dimensions: 128.5 cm maximum height, 159 cm total length, 54 cm diameter diffuser, 12 cm wide and 42 cm long ceiling support.
The light source comes from 2 CRI>90 LED modules of 34W each, 1430Lm and 2700K, supplied with the luminaire and not replaceable.
