A superb Orpheus pendant, a truly delicate and poetic lighting creation, as its name suggests, referring to the famous ancient poet. The suspension is made up of a metal cylinder-shaped spotlight suspended from a thin cable, which is extended by a metal branch that forms an enchanting spiral to reveal a magnificent white porcelain flower, delicately hand-chased by the craftsmen of Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. This is a limited edition. The branch is cast in bronze with a dark patina to give the material its full plant-like dimension. Note how the rose is placed exactly on the axis of the light projected by the spotlight, to highlight every detail. From its workshops in the Netherlands, the Van Egmond brand has been developing a collection of truly luminous creations since 1989, characterised by a quest for excellence in craftsmanship, combining classic and contemporary aesthetics.

William Brand graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Utrecht School of Art in the Netherlands. His luminous works exude passion and emotion and leave a lasting impression.
