Virginia floor lamp with large shade , by Arturo Alvarez

A simple design for the Virginia floor lamp, with a large conical shade in white lacquered stainless steel mesh. The model has a round base with a straight foot, all in stainless steel, topped by the shade. The lampshade is conical in shape and is made using a traditional metal mesh technique with tight meshes that allow light to pass through. The stainless steel sheet is then formed into this classic pleated shade. The name of the model is a reference to the British feminist writer Virginia Woolf. The floor lamp has a foot switch on the transparent power cord.

All Arturo Alvarez lamps are made in the company's Galician workshops, and each piece is a true work of light with a delicate sensibility, whose interplay of shapes and textures is directly inspired by nature.

Dimensions: 163cm total height for the large model, shade 40cm high and 38cm in diameter. 153cm tall for the small model, shade 30cm tall and 35cm in diameter, with 250cm of cable.

The light source is a 12W max E27 LED bulb, to be purchased separately.
