The striking Africa floor lamp is an encounter between a floral shape and a coral texture, created using the collection's signature material, white-painted steel mesh, which offers flexibility and strength. It is used to create the open, irregular corolla shape that diffuses light towards the ceiling and through the grille, and is criss-crossed with vertical grooves that give it its plant-like dimension. The material is lacquered for extra durability and the floor lamp is mounted on a natural stainless steel plate.
The lamp evokes a meeting between an aquatic universe and a contemporary spirit, the hallmark of Arturo Alvarez, who creates refined pieces that are true works of light.
