Lantern wall lamp 19th century large model Pétrole
Green-grey finish metal wall paraffin lamp for outdoor use - Lum’Art - Exterior wall lights
The design of the large Pétrole outdoor wall light with its verdigris metal lantern is directly inspired by the paraffin lamps of 19th century stables. The light bulb slides into a frosted glass tube inside a rectangular metal housing fixed directly to the wall. The case is glazed on both sides and the front is actually a door, a remnant of the lamps of yesteryear. The roof of the wall light is curved, with a series of slits that recall the function of the chimney to evacuate the gases produced by the old oil lamps. The verdigris finish, obtained by an artisanal process that makes each model unique, gives it an authentic aged patina. This wall light is IP23 rated.
The model is available in a small version with an aged brass finish under the reference 24050047, in a large version with an aged zinc finish under the reference 24050049 and in an XXL version with an aged brass finish under the reference 24050050. The model can be made in any of the finishes shown in the secondary photos opposite, but the price may vary depending on the finish. Please contact us for further information.
Dimensions: 40cm high, 24cm wide, 18cm protruding from the wall.
The light source is a 60W max E27 bulb or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.
