Wall lamp with pink glass flowers
Art Nouveau 2-light wall lamp in green bronze and glass paste - Lucien Gau - Wall lights
A charming little 2-light wall sconce from the Art Nouveau collection, with a fine bronze wall bracket depicting a young shoot with two short stems on either side of the central part, each bearing a delicate bell-shaped glass paste flower with pink petals. Bronze, which has the remarkable quality of being very malleable and thus allows great precision in detail, is used for the body of the wall lamp and is painted green to complete the impression of a pretty green shoot illuminated by two small flowers. The collection perfectly embodies the romantic, overgrown aesthetic of the Art Nouveau style, which can be found, for example, on some of the old arcades of the Paris metro.
Heir to a Parisian bronze workshop that dates back to the 19th century, year after year Lucien Gau continues to demonstrate his exceptional craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, in the restoration, conservation and reproduction of lighting fixtures using techniques faithful to the period in which they were created.
You will also find a 7-light chandelier and a 10-light chandelier in the series under the references 22050061 and 22050062.
Dimensions: 39cm high, 37cm wide, 27cm from the wall.
The light source comes from 2 E14, halogen or LED bulbs, to be purchased separately.
