The Swirl collection combines a contemporary aesthetic with Scandinavian minimalism for this 30cm round pendant, the small model in the series. The reflector, the centerpiece of the model, is a wide strip of white acrylic that forms a generous round spiral. It houses an LED bulb whose light reflects on each curve of the suspension, creating a luminous fractal whose shape surprises at each new angle of view. The model hangs on a white power cable, and the fixture's contemporary aesthetic combines with Scandinavian minimalism. The collection manifests all the virtuosity of Le Klint design, inspired by the shapes offered by nature. The Danish house has been working since the 1940s to design and manufacture timeless lighting, adapting old techniques to today's technologies in its Odense workshops.
The model is available in 35cm and 60cm high in the order options at the bottom of this page, and exists in a copper version under the reference 20090170. The collection also includes a series of oval pendant lights, available in three sizes and in white and copper under the reference 20090164, as well as a ceiling lamp also available in three sizes in white under the reference 20090176 and in copper under the reference 20090179.
Dimensions: 30cm high and 32cm in diameter for the small model, 35cm in height and 40cm in diameter for the intermediate model and 60cm in height and 55cm in diameter for the large model.
The light source comes from an E14 and 420Lm LED bulb for the 30cm model, E27 and 800Lm for the 35cm model and E27 and 1560Lm for the 60cm model, to be purchased separately.

It all began at the beginning of the 20th century with designer P.V. Jensen Klint's creation of a pleated paper lampshade to decorate a paraffin lamp.
