Soleil is aptly named, the pendant lamp radiates hot and solar energy, with its reflector organized in radiation around a round piece of wood, and made of hand-pleated paper with an impressive delicacy, which gives it this warm texture. The reflector is embedded under a large circular aluminum plate, topped by a conical piece of light oak in which the suspension cable is fixed, sheathed in linen, which adds a natural touch to the model. The realization demonstrates a high mastery of the material, and the sober and geometric rendering is in line with the Scandinavian design of the Le Klint spirit. One of the spearheads of the Danish house, active since the 1940s, is the artisanal work of paper as a material in its own right in the design and manufacture of refined and timeless lighting.

Dimensions: available in 35cm diameter and 5cm thick, or 50cm in diameter and 6cm thick.
The light source comes from a 640 or 980 lm CRI> 90 LED module, not dimmable integrated into the luminaire.

It all began at the beginning of the 20th century with designer P.V. Jensen Klint's creation of a pleated paper lampshade to decorate a paraffin lamp. The Klint family, under the aegis of Tage Klint, founded the Danish brand in 1943 and developed an exclusive quality of paper to create their famous handmade lampshades. As the collections developed, the brand became known throughout the world, with iconic models still published today in the Masterpieces collection, until it was recognised as the official supplier of the Danish Royal Crown in 2003.
