Airy and delicate, Lamella is a long pendant lamp inspired by the diaphanous design of the interior of the mushroom that gives the collection its name. The elongated, rounded volume of the lampshade is made of white paper carefully folded by hand, allowing it to benefit from the warm texture of this material. The model's minimalism is emphasized by discreet brushed aluminum rings on either side of the volume, and it is suspended by a white cable. The recommended LED lighting to prevent overheating on contact with the paper ensures uniform and long-lasting light. One of the spearheads of the Danish house Le Klint, active since the 1940s, is the artisanal work of paper as a material in its own right in the design and manufacture of refined and timeless lighting.
The collection also includes a shape variant under the reference 20090159, as well as a ceiling lamp available in 35cm and 50cm under the reference 20090162.

It all began at the beginning of the 20th century with designer P.V. Jensen Klint's creation of a pleated paper lampshade to decorate a paraffin lamp. The Klint family, under the aegis of Tage Klint, founded the Danish brand in 1943 and developed an exclusive quality of paper to create their famous handmade lampshades. As the collections developed, the brand became known throughout the world, with iconic models still published today in the Masterpieces collection, until it was recognised as the official supplier of the Danish Royal Crown in 2003.
