The sublime Aimei ash wood pendant, which could be considered a work of art, combines the ethereal with the aquatic, inspired by its seahorse shape. Several wooden stems with rows of vertical spikes are interlocked to form elements that seem to come together to form a dorsal fin, at the centre of which is the spherical diffuser in satin-finish white glass. The ash used offers flexibility and versatility, and its strength makes it a high quality material that allows for a delicate finish, which is reflected in the design. The luminaire is suspended from the ceiling by means of a discreet transparent cable and a cylindrical ceiling plate. The LED module is integrated into the luminaire.
The lamp evokes a meeting between an aquatic world and a contemporary spirit, the hallmark of Arturo Alvarez, who creates refined, delicate pieces that are true works of light.
