Sommerand 3-light white articulated floor lamp
Swivel 50s floor lamp in gilded metal and white shades, available in black - Visual Comfort&Co. - Floor lamps
Inspired by the iconic Arredoluce lamps of the 1950s, Sommerand is a 3-light floor lamp with a golden structure, 3 asymmetrical white adjustable diffusers and articulated arms with counterweights. Sommerand has a base with 4 star-shaped legs, one straight and adjustable in height, to which the 3 arms are attached, long rods weighted on butterfly ball-and-socket joints. The asymmetrical oval lampshades are made of white metal on the outside and have a white coating on the inside to optimise light reflection. They are mounted on a short rod with a ball-and-socket joint, which allows the light to be directed. The whole unit is made of gold-plated metal with an antique brass finish, obtained by hand-rubbing the metal to achieve this authentic patina, and is supplied with a foot switch on the power cord.
The lamp is designed by AERIN, Estée Lauder's granddaughter, who has created a world of Hamptons chic and elegance with Mediterranean influences. The American brand Visual Comfort, which has been in business since 1987, offers a wide range of contemporary and traditional lamps made from the highest quality materials.
The model is also available with a black shade, see 23050018. The collection also includes a 3-light pendant available with black or white diffusers, see 23050045 and 23050046.
Dimensions: Height between 152 and 208cm, maximum width 104cm, base 55.9cm wide and 9.5cm high, each stem with shade included is 103cm long. Lampshade 23cm long.
