Product Description
This golden Louis XIV style wall sconce is made of solid bronze with an old gold patina. It consists of a carved wall bracket with three visible facets. This support is decorated with framed horizontal stripes and two ornamental elements at its upper and lower ends. It supports two arms, each formed by two scrolls joined together and decorated with a hollowed and chased pattern. Each arm is topped by a candleholder with a pearled bowl and an arched bobeche with matching decoration. The set has a very good balance, which underlines the exceptional quality of the production, carried out according to the most traditional methods of working solid bronze, in the workshops of Lucien Gau in France. There is a matching chandelier, visible as 12020136.
