Product Description
This Louis XIV style fluted and gilded wall sconce is made from solid patinated old gold bronze. It consists of a carved wall bracket with three visible facets. This support is decorated with grooves and pearls and two ornamental elements placed at its upper and lower ends. It supports two arms in volutes decorated with a discreet acanthus leaf pattern. Each arm carries a candlestick with a bowl decorated with beads and stripes and a curved bobeche. The set has a very good balance, which underlines the exceptional quality of the production, carried out according to the most traditional methods of working solid bronze, in the workshops of Lucien Gau in France.
Dimensions: height 37cm, width 29cm, overhang 14cm.
