Bohemian crystal Louis XV style chandelier 6 lights, by Lucien Gau

With a perfect balance of shapes, this charming Louis XV chandelier in Bohemian crystal and solid patinated old gold bronze can be easily installed in rooms of conventional dimensions: at a height of 75cm (without chain), a ceiling height of 2m70 is sufficient. The chain supplied can be shortened at the time of installation. Six double spiral arms, finely carved and decorated with folded acanthus leaf motifs, diverge from a lower central part (the base) decorated with a matching pattern. These branches, perfectly balanced, each support a candelabra at their end. The basins (cups at the base of the candlesticks) are finely worked with acanthus leaves. In a particularly graceful movement, each branch is connected to a double spiral element, also carved and decorated. These six elements meet at the top of the chandelier. Many Bohemian crystal pendants adorn this set. They are cut in pear, rosette and leaf shapes. The impeccable craftsmanship is carried out exclusively in the traditional way in the French workshops of this exceptional manufacturer.
