30's wall light, copper finish Kraus
Wall lamp in painted metal and fluted glass - Gau Lighting - Wall lights
In the style of the 1930s, the Klaus wall lamp has a copper-painted metal base and a fluted glass diffuser. The striking vintage look of this model is based on an angled square aluminium profile support onto which a glass tube is inserted. The vertical grooves are reminiscent of the fluting on Greek columns, giving the wall luminaire a dramatic, architectural feel. The copper-painted finish of the metal gives it a warm patina, and its simplicity makes it equally at home in contemporary or classic settings. Kraus is a design by Paris-based Gau Lighting, a team of designers and interior architects who have developed a wealth of eclectic materials, working in bronze, aluminium, brass, wood, alabaster, glass and acrylic. Gau emphasises the use of technological innovations such as LED lighting, carefully integrated into its luminaires, which are designed and manufactured in the Paris region.
This model is also available in an IP44 version for the bathroom, see 23120048.
Dimensions: 64cm high, 18.2cm protruding from the wall, 10.4cm diameter, 50cm long diffuser.
The light source is a 12W max S14D LED tube, to be purchased separately.
