Its name indicates the inspiration drawn from the revolutionary art movement of the early 20th century, Cubist is a beautiful table lamp in gold bronze and off white chintz shade. The lamp is composed of a base and a foot made of stacked asymmetrical polygonal bronze pieces that evoke the cairns built by hikers on the edges of paths, all made of solid cast bronze, with a beautiful ecru chintz shade. The golden finish is obtained by first polishing the bronze, which creates a contrast between the shiny edges and the natural hollows of the metal, which are left matt. The metal is then electroplated with a thin, even layer of gold. The lights of the French company Objet Insolite, exclusively made of solid bronze, are real sculptures that combine the power of bronze with the delicacy and poetry of the elements of nature and the animal world that inspire the design of their lights, made in Normandy.
