This large floor lamp is part of the S71 collection, which reinterprets a classic shape in a contemporary style inspired by nature. The floor lamp has a cylindrical base and a conical foot that rises and splits into three branches, evoking the branches of a tree. The base is crowned by a beautifully proportioned cylindrical shade in black chintz. The whole piece has a very sober black finish. The Belgian company Axis71, which has been in business since the 1970s, offers an eclectic contemporary collection in metal.
The S71 collection also includes a table lamp (reference 20070122) and a medium and large suspension lamp (reference 20070131).
