Louis XVI style chandelier in solid bronze, old gold finish 6 lights
Golden bronze chandelier. Also available in five and eight light versions. - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
This very elegant Louis XVI style chandelier made of solid bronze with an old gold finish is also available in a five-light and an eight-light version. Its perfect proportions give it balance and purity. Its six arms in double volutes, covered with leaf elements in the purest Louis XVI style, end in small flared and delicately fluted basins, lined with a fine pearl chain. The bobeches, also fluted, carry the candles from the basins with a natural continuity. The body of the chandelier is divided into two perfectly executed parts. The lower part, with bronze arms, alternates polished and shiny parts. It ends with a bud surmounted by small leaves. Its upper part emerges from the connecting element as a flower. A leaf element, perfectly executed by the Lucien Gau workshops using age-old know-how, appears to complete the chandelier and link it to the chain, a conical decorative element highlighted by two chains of fine pearls. Note that the chain of this chandelier is also a decorative element in itself. Adjustable in height, it is composed of geometric and fluted flat links of incomparable beauty and relief, accentuated by the antique gold side of their finish. With a height of 58 cm from the chain, this chandelier is ideal for ceilings from 2.60 metres. It is available in the version with three lights under the reference 16060053 and with eight lights under the reference 16060052.
