Directoire gold-tone bright gold and bronze green chandelier, solid bronze, six candles
Chandelier green bronze shade decorated with gold leaf, arrow decoration and frigian caps - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
Very elegant and original, this solid bronze chandelier in the Directoire style carries its six candles on busts of women wearing the Frigian cap, the revolutionary symbol of freedom. The lampshade, in shades of bright gold and bronze-green, partially covers the candles and is crossed from top to bottom by an arrow symbolising the will and expansion of the individual. The arrow also crosses the globe, which acts as the central element from which the arms with lights radiate. It is supported by a chain with simple links, which highlights it by drawing the eye to all the details that make it up. Its realisation is perfect. It is the result of the exceptional work of the craftsmen of the Lucien Gau company, part of the French Living Heritage, official supplier of castles and historical monuments.
