Equipped with 15 lights, this Louis XVI patinated bronze old gold and bohemian crystal chandelier takes the form of a thin cage whose elements fade behind the profusion of pendants with which it is equipped. Three thin, unadorned arms, meridian-shaped, rush from the lower central part of this chandelier to join the hanging element. Twelve arms spring from the same central part, also without ornamental motifs, formed in volutes, and supporting at their extremity as many candlesticks. The shape of six of these arms is such that the corresponding candle holders are placed inside the cage, to increase the flicker of the many crystals. The basins (cups at the base of the candlesticks) shaped petal are deliberately reduced to their simplest decorative expression. This set is covered by a large number of tassels carved in oak leaf. The central part is also occupied by a very overlaid superposition of crystal globes underlined by some bronze elements. Finally, the top of this exceptional chandelier is dominated by several pieces of crystal cut into leaf mounted palmette, another recurring element of the Louis XVI style. All metal parts are solid bronze, sand molded, gold patinated old gold. The manufacture is entirely carried out in France. It uses only the most traditional methods, for unparalleled quality of execution. This exceptional chandelier is also available in 20 lights, see below the order options.
