A superb table lamp, entirely in grooved white ceramic with polished brass details. The model takes the form of a conical ceramic base with a large hollow drum shade topped by a small gold dome. The ceramic work immediately catches the eye, with its rough finish and irregular vertical grooves that form a pattern reminiscent of the texture of bark or certain corals. The lampshade is decorated with a golden bead of polished brass, married to the short stem that attaches the shade to the body of the lamp and to the lampholder, and the lamp is fitted with a black textile-covered power cord.
Mullan luminaires, heirs to a centuries-old Irish craft tradition, are distinguished by their judicious use of quality materials and attention to detail, resulting in pieces that have perfectly blended aesthetics and functionality for generations.
The Seville collection also includes a suspension lamp available under the reference 24020009.
